Vision Mission and Purpose at Benedetto Foundation

Born from a heartfelt vision to uplift the next generation, the Benedetto Foundation was formally established in 2024 as a beacon of hope for Cape Town’s youth. We set out with a clear purpose: to reach young people aged 13–18 from the Cape Flats and surrounding communities, using the universal language of soccer as a bridge to transformation. While our journey began on the pitch, our commitment extends far beyond the final whistle.  

In February 2025, a long-held dream became reality with the opening of the Benedetto Hub, where 15 talented teenagers are immersed in a holistic program that cares for every part of their lives. Education, counselling, an elite football development program, life skills, social responsibility and pastoral care form the building blocks of our approach. Today, this vision lives through two closely connected programs: the Benedetto Hub, our scholarship and study hub, and FC Benedetto, our high-performance football academy supported by data-driven training and a competitive game schedule. Together, they create a sanctuary where young people can rise, thrive and rewrite their future.
